This movie just tells the same story that no Australian could have failed to hear in the past. It is horrific and violent playing to the male audience who appear to enjoy this genre. No matter how amazing the cinematography, the audience is left with nothing but trauma and nowhere to go. Why does Australia continue to reiterate its shocking history and not move forward to embrace the future such as what was put forward in the statement from the heart? I saw this movie in celebration of NAIDOC week - how is it a celebration?
