If you're religious, stupid, can't stomach violence, or just like being a contrarian, you might think this is a bad movie. It's not. This is a masterclass in several areas. In order to illustrate that, I want you to imagine a prompt. Imagine about 5 of the most dynamic, dysfunctional people you could possibly imagine. Now throw things like love, greed, violence, respect, sex, ignorance, and a bunch of surprises tossed into the pot. Now imagine that all those zany characters are portrayed by great actors who are directed to perfection. You will see things in this movie that you've never seen before, and yet, all of it will feel somehow familiar. Yeah, digest that.
