Post as KTAG Unfortunately this television series has many deficiencies. Although it is enjoyable, it misrepresents the excellent trilogy of novels by Cixin Liu.The characters are completely different and the second book, The Dark Forest, is almost ignored. In the latter battles occur which are crucial to the understanding of the trilogy and also the intriguing concepts of ' The Chain of Suspicion ' and ' The Dark Forest ' are revealed. The series jumps forward well into the third book , 'Death's End' with the launch of the probe containing the brain.There may have been financial and technical difficulties, but clearly it would have been better to allocate one t.v series per book to do the trilogy justice. Read all three books!
