RA Anynomous

I was very impressed by the 1st Movie as many people did and I didn't expect to be impressed that much by the 2nd one. This one blew my mind again visually, so damn stylish, same use of the halftone effects. It is certainly not for everyone's taste but if you are into design, motion graphics, and CG arts you will surely find this movie so interesting visually and creatively speaking. I wish I could have an internship with the team that works on this movie...MUST WATCH! 5 stars are not enough...

I loved the 2014 Godzilla which is way superior cinematographically. Climax was patiently built. The proportion and scale between monsters, city had more depth. The human side was more present even I know in this movie they wanted to emphasized the monsters part. CG nothing impressed me as much as the 1st movie. Action scene a lot of non sense, main characters can walk around without sustaining any serious injuries in such a blasting scale, OK it's a movie we have seen this a lot but some movies does it tastefully... Pacific Rim was more tastefully made...i would love to see Guillermo Del Toro takes on Godzilla but that sound impossible... I believe it will please mostly teenagers but as a designer I felt so disappointed by the overall execution things could look way more stylish under better hands. Ghidora's design is just a Chinese alike dragon, knowing where he comes from design could look more special... Rodan could be more stylish, Mothra was great looking, Godzilla revamped nicely too and many badass appareance... Ending is ridiculously cheesy. Humor so so... 3 out of 10 for me while I would give 7.5 out if ten for the 1st one...
