Summer Lloyd

This movie is absolutely AMAZING! My family has been waiting almost two years since we heard about a Sonic movie in development, and it was completely worth it; we came to see it three times during the past couple weeks, and it never gets old. All of the actors did a great job - much better than many of Disney's latest movies and another game-based movie I've seen (no offense to them, but I think it's true). Jim Carrey did perfectly playing Doctor Robotnik; he was super funny and lively, and no one could have done it better. Sonic is so cute and he was very expressive, showing so much emotion and humor throughout the entire movie. I am glad they took that extra time on the movie to redesign and reanimate Sonic, and I feel that the new movie design was a big success. As for the special effects, they were astonishing - especially the part where Sonic (accidentally) caused an enormous power outage with his electrified running, and the exciting final battle with Doctor Eggman. There are so many parts of this movie we love and will always remember. Everyone involved did an excellent job with the Sonic Movie, the very best and only good game-based movie I have ever seen, and I will look forward with great anticipation to every sequel that will ever be made for this brilliant film (and hopefully, one of those sequels will have Shadow or Metal Sonic in it). And don't miss the mid-credits scene where Tails appears; his design and voice are just perfect, and it's exciting to see him come in for a future sequel. Overall great movie and a must-see for any viewer that loves Sonic and enjoys a good adventure!
