I have watched hundreds of movies that have been emotionally intense so much so that they’ve brought me to tears. None of those movies even come close to About Time. Not only does this movie point out the importance of savoring the most basic and pure beauties of life. But as someone with a close relationship with their father, this movie exemplifies the in mmortality of love, and how bringing new life into this world can gift you with new love, while simultaneously saying goodbye to another. This movie also presents an important storyline surrounding sisterhood and the relationship and love with your sibling. I strongly recommend this movie to anyone who has recently been through the loss of a loved one, or anyone trying to grapple with the constant pendulum of pain and love In this life. (Or anyone who just needs a really really good cry).
