Just finished the book and I was truly overwhelmed. It was a treatise which very subtly captured the quintessence of military life in a couple of stories. The characters were true to life. Being from a fauji background I could identify myself with most of the characters who took me down memory lane. The chatty style interwoven with quirky humour and blended with the play of emotions made the book unputdownable. I enjoyed every word, every nuance and every story which seamlessly led to the next. I was transported to the cafe and was a silent onlooker as I sat at one of the tables drinking in the scene at Olive Beans.
Congratulations Reeti for gifting us a slice of life! Looking forward to a sequel!!!
