This book is about love and, more importantly, God. It got me from the very first chapter. I am writing down the Rules as I come to them and plan to go back and journal what comes up, and believe me, a lot is coming up. I feel like I am growing closer to God with each word. I am just so moved. As I read I share with my partner and he wants to read the book too. He said that with the way the world is now, everyone should read it regardless of their religious beliefs. I agree. If we lived more like Shams of Tabriz and Rumi we would have a much kinder, gentler world. I feel that even people who don't believe in God could benefit from this as it is that profound. And what is interesting is that it really is close to what the core of all the major religions teach, but so few practice. I highly recommend this book!
