There an undercurrent of wokeness in the movie. Spoils it.

I realise we a selling to an international audience and the cinematography is great. Some scenes are great. Most of the acting is above average. Just the plot could be more gritty like Yellowstone.

Maybe it's me being a boomer but I've never seen a bunch of more whiney, feckless characters. Between the series Lost and the series From I'd much rather be with the characters of Lost. At least their proactive trying to solve their situation. The From story is all about being a victim and waiting for help to happen.

Have to be honest. Gibson and Weaver attracted me to this movie as an OZ. But Wahlberg, he was superb in the lead role. I hope the movie shines a bright light on Stu's life .

News and a current affairs filtered through the lens of left wing politics and feminism. Facts left out to suit the abc policy directives. Inappropriate use of inclusivity langauage.

Watched it all 12 years ago and watched it all again this week. Still good.

Hmmm. Sometimes it hits the point. Sometimes I think where is the indigenous presenters? Mostly it's focused on female community within the area they are reviewing. No problem with that I suppose. Most of the hosts are women and probably feel uncomfortable talking to men.

Well acted and suspensefull. Some logic flaws. Does not tie everything up nice and neatly for the viewer but forces the viewer to work through it.

Yes, well standard troupes. Old rich white guy foiled by mixed race guy and young white single mother. All other actors regardless of race just bit players. Standard scripts. Slightly above acting. Not gritty enough for me. Feels like an ABC production director - late coffee, eastern Sydney suburbs narrative. If your a white 30s chick you'll think it's reality .
