This show helped me give my father the best Father's Day gift ever - I was able to tell him how incredibly smart and brave he'd been- thanks to this show. He has Altzeimer's now, but was having a really good day. He began flying in the Air Force, ferrying planes to Europe after WW2, and then based overseas before flying commercial planes starting in the 50s. He rarely talked about his job, but he was a well-respected captain who flew everything from Viscounts to 767s. This show helped me understand the progress in aviation over that time, and since, and how even the tiniest moment can have a huge impact. I have other family member who are also pilots now, and one aircraft mechanic brother. Thank you to everyone who makes this show possible - and to the NTSB and its international equivalents for all the incredibly detailed work you do. Dad said no-one had ever told him how smart he was before - I'm glad I wasn't too late.
