Love the world building, especially the design and ethos of a strong African nation very well done, also good to have strong female characters as well, but they were not particularly well fleshed out especially riri who had no real backstory and just appeared as an overpowered character straight away. at no stage was there any Feeling of peril for the protagonists it was just tech and special effects without the real human drama which ties us and endears us to the characters. we always new they would prevail even with the loss of some good side characters, such a pity as the premis for a good film was present. Some great actors were also present kudos to them, but they need better material to work with. But it's a kids film I probably shouldn't be so harsh.

Ok so I was looking forward to this show, (love the mandalorian) I won't go into too many details as others have pointed out some of the issues I would mention already, but the main problem is with the direction and pacing. There seems to be a lot of just plainly ridiculous scenes such as obi being rescued by the loader robot and Vader just stands there with a few flames around him and just lets him get away when earlier he was force pulling him all over the place, makes no sense, there are multiple instances of this type of thing occurring throught the show. I thought we may be in for a bumpy ride when my 10 year old remarked, why can't those bounty hunters catch a little girl? Why didn't they get people who are good at Thier job to catch her? He then proceeded to comment on all the badly thought out nonsensical stuff like this for the next 4 episodes, we gave up on the 4th episode When my son asked why the stormtroopers can't shoot anything, Great sets and art direction ruined by poor direction .
