Jeanne Wilkinson

I was enjoying this novel and its quirky characters and recipes until the last few chapters when Mandy, (the dentist who unfortunately married the Polish count) whose life is in tatters, is basically dumped by our heroine, (who is at least partially responsible for Mandy's current nightmares) without a kind word. I did finish the book, but I'd lost most of my respect for the characters who now seemed self-involved and callous.
