I've seen several reviews with some negativity toward this game, but in my opinion this is the game of the year. As a Star Wars fan, this is a refreshing take on the universe with new planets and characters. Playing on Xbox the controls are smooth. My 11 year old and play together, switching off turns, and it's super easy to jump in and understand what's going on. Cruising around on the speeder is super fun, especially when you get some of the attack abilities. I could be critical and call out a few bugs and grievances, but i've been around long enough to experience far worse. And nothing i've experienced in this game impacts the overall playability and enjoyment of the game. Wishes. I'm still working through the game, but my wishes/hopes are for more planets with expansions. The ability to not drop picked up weapons for melee attacks, and be able to take them on your speeder with you. Side note. Clearly building off some of the architecture from Jedi:Fallen Order and Survivor gives me a ton of hope for more compelling games from the Star Wars universe. If the basic framework is in place, I have to assume it comes to new story lines, characters, and designers to keep producing new games every few years. That is my hope.
