Back in the 80s my well-read father bought me this precious book during his return trip from Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu to Mumbai, Maharashtra. Along with it he brought a big book on the civilizations and a concise world atlas by Bartholomew.
In due course of time, and amidst the widely nomadic childhood of mine, I couldn't preserve this book and got separated from it hoping that one day I would reunite with the book.
The cover design of this book is extremely nostalgic to me. The stories in it are fairy tales which are captivating in their plotline and has an excellent narrative style. Though I have crossed the age of reading fairy tales, I still am yearning to get a hold of this book and re-live my childhood. Reading this book again will reverse my age back to 30 years. With Amazon in this world, nothing is beyond our reach.
