Powerful film. Stunning cinematography and performances. A glimpse of Palestinian village life, the scenery, the beautiful costumes, food and traditions before everything unravels during the Nakba. All see through the eyes of a 14 year old girl. A reminder that most victims of war are innocent women, children and elderly people. Similar horrors happening in so many parts of the world today - and tragically life in the West Bank and Gaza is still very precarious and violent. One of the best films released this year. Deserves an Oscar.

Beautiful performances. Thoughtful script. Grim depiction of the ‘Wild West’ has resonance with today’s USA.

Nice costumes and performances but sloppy script and historically incorrect in so many ways. Poor Queen Anne did not deserve this sleazy mish mash.
