Every year they get worse, the company does everything but listen to the community, Goals are so easy even your dog can score. Mechanics are terrible from the pressure system, the hip checks, skater and goalie mechanics. Just crazy how players are allowed make their players skate funny just to get an extra reach with their hands or sway the stick left to right for an easy goal. Players don’t even have to think much or at all to score, all of it is cheese goals especially in Division 1 of the EASHL where my club is at. If EA fixed the real problems of this game then no one would be complaining but keep adding mechanics that make the game worse!

Franchise mode needs to be revamp for NHL 24, I appreciate the owner mode feature and how I can run my own team but what would make me play it more often is if you can do something with your salary money as GM and add more leagues to develop or draft players were there. Be cool if a Stanley cup parade animation was added, more Arena features to customize, some sort of drama/situations a GM has to deal with from negotiating, locker room interaction, Owner or team meetings option, just put more emotion and drama to it, can even add Tv reporters/Social Media followers talking and tweeting over in the menu similar to what MLB “road to the show” does. GM mode would be more fun as well if you were to add a CO-OP/Online mode to play with friends as well.
