I thought this was a Great movie, Ethan Hawke is just excellent at portraying Pat Garrett. If you like Westerns then you’ll love this movie. Don’t pay any attention to what the NYC & LA Film Critics are saying in their biased reviews. I didn’t realize you could get hired as a film critic for a large publication & write reviews that are false & full of bias. The 1800’s happened, it was a reality in this nation’s history, not something a big city SJW can erase. It’s clear they don’t mind writing false & demeaning reviews about films that aren’t pushing PC Culture, their weird biases show like a neon sign if they watched this awesome Western & walked away with anything negative to say. It worries me that critics would watch a film that is so obviously Great, then begin typing their hatred & anger into a review of it all based on the fact that they want to rewrite history & try to make the public forget that these events did occur & there was a long period of time in America where life was as is portrayed in “The Kid”. To Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, DeHaan, & Schur..... Well Done gentlemen, Well Done.
