In my life, I've seen more than a few Godzilla films. I had thought the creme de la creme was the original with Raymond Burr many decades ago, but I thought this version had solid substance along with incredible special effects. We also learn the correct spelling and pronunciation of the beasts name; "Gojira," not Godzilla which I now consider to be an American bastardization of the original Japanese name.
