I have waited many years to visit the Today show. I've been watching with my grandma since you aired the Charles and Diana wedding. We opted for our vacation in New York so that I could check it off my bucket list. I told my grandma years ago "I'll be there someday". After dragging my fiance out of bed at 4 am, we made it to the plaza. We were first in line. After about an hour and a half, we were told by security that we needed proof of a COVID vaccination. Tears instantly welled in my eyes because I could not keep the promise to my grandma. You see, I'm diabetic and have stood my ground when it comes to receiving the vaccine. I have worked in customer service all through the pandemic and have been tested many times. Sometimes quitting while you're ahead is not quitting.
