Dylan Rodgers

This is Pixar's latest film released in theaters, aside from most new pixar films released on Disney+ since the pandemic. I kind of liked it, in its own unique way. The concept is terrific, and it's a perfect fit for a Pixar animated film. While some of the story elements seem predictable to me, it still has the same old astounding and amazing animation that I enjoyed since I was a kid, and I also really liked how it has abilities to appeal to different audiences with different heritage, due to its amazing representation I easily can point out every five or so minutes of the movie. It may not be a Frozen or Zootopia, but man, this is a perfect groundbreaker for Pixar.

Look at it this way: Home Alone 3 is not a "bad" movie, just not as enjoyable or charming as the previous two. I bet that's why a lot of fans are hating on it. But, in my opinion, I think that on it's own, it's pretty good. Just don't expect it to be tied up with the Kevin MacCallister universe which both Home Alone and Home Alone 2 shared. Home Alone 3 showcases its own style instead of copying the themes again just like what Home Alone 2 did. It's really impressive, I watched this movie a lot in my childhood, and it really has its good moments in there. Just keep your eyes peeled for the booby trap scenes while being hyped about the plot. I do recommend, though, if you're not a fan of action-like & dark movies, don't watch this movie. I think while both Home Alone 1 & 2 are the the most memorable parts of the film series, Home Alone 3 is also good. All the other ones are complete garbage imo.
