Great production values, strong cast but the storytelling elements of the racial degradation of Blacks in the 50's and Lovecraft horror lore distract one from the other. A mishmash narrative at best

Fascinating storytelling and characters that that make me cringe with discomfort. For me it's like watching a bad accident in slow motion and caring for people I don't like all at the same time. Watching Succession for me is sublime experience.
