I just finished Spartacus and heard that The Last Kingdom was similar. I really tried to get into it with how much I heard about it. I made it 3 and a half seasons in and reached my max tolerance. The plot is predictable, nonsensical and repetitive.

Frustratingly great game is the best way I can put it 😂. The first two acts were harder than Dark Souls for me. And then I had my "aha" moment and it became extremely enjoyable to play. I recommend if you're looking for a turn based challenge and a few rage quits until you figure it out (or research the game beforehand I guess)
