The production quality and the sound is up to industry standards - that’s why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. I had to go back and watch the original movie to cleanse my palette of this drivel of a TV show. Theres an overemphasis in this movie of men playing primal feminine roles and women playing primal masculine roles. There’s also more than a few unnecessary makeout scenes with two women that feels completely unrelatable to real world culture, or the IP really. Is it possible to have these things included in the IP? Absolutely, but it needs to be well written. I’m not opposed to anything, nor am I against anything that was put into this movie: I just don’t like bad writing. To put it quite simply: there’s a lack of VERISIMILITUDE in this show that just completely ruins it.
