I love Diablo, I hope everyday they can make D4 a better franchise but the story was mid at best. I felt like this could have been a seasonal content story or included in the base game, doesn’t constitute an entire expansion with a full game price (Blizzard with the audacity thinking expansions can be 70-100$) and give you a new class and a small zone. A lot of this felt like quality of life or at least reduce the price of the expansion to something reasonable. Barely any new monsters and the story seems like it’s going to be cool and have an epic ending or a huge cliff hanger but you’re just kinda like meh…wow more waiting. Just like the choice to kill Lilith off in the base game, but there is a hint that a certain angel is still around but again just text just hints nothing cool or solid to be like OMG WOW, Just like meh. New class is cool but would feel better to add more nostalgic classes such as witch doctor, crusader, amazon or monk. The spirit born feels like a mix of witch doctor/monk, fun class but again mid and I really didn’t feel into playing much after the story. I really regret buying this to a point.
