I like it. I didn't realize it was a book series until I read some of the reviews. I am not likely to go and read them either. It is a little slow in season 1 but I think it's supposed to be and you have to pay attention. I am enjoying season 2 I can't wait till next Sunday. I really hope that they come out with a season 3 because I think that it's it's just different. I mean yeah there's been like reality TV shows that talk about game Warden up in Alaska or out in Maine. But this is a drama show about a game warden it's just different. I think everyone should give it a whole season chance. Because even though there are sad parts there's funny parts, there can be a little awkwardness too. I think that if you have a dark sense of humor some things will be funnier than others. I also like it that it takes place in a real town in Wyoming and it's on the backbone of a national forest. And I went over those mountains when I traveled to Yellowstone, so for me it's even more awesome. But please also try to remember that this is still fictitious.
