I will admit that a few minutes in, I was tempted to abandon this film like a dead-beat dad, but due to 1 or 2 good reviews I stayed on board...and I'm glad I did. Yes, there was some crazy editing choices, and Kirk's acting could've been better. But as the movie went on, it was pure magic baby. Even Kirk got better, and I realized she was perfect for the role. I laughed like a tickled baby at times, and despite it being a good horror, I was left with the warm 'n fuzzies. What a joy. I was also surprised to find out that the actress is quite the femme fatalle in Hollywood. This movie was truly the gift that keeps on giving. Watch it, you won't be sorry.

Definitely one of my favorites. It's rare that I binge a series but this was one of them. The character development is awesome, and Father Tomas is definitely on of my favorite characters. No lie though, sometimes it was a bit cheesy, but I appreciated the cheese because at least they tried. Horror is a bit selfish these days. They only care about themselves and what they want to convey. It was cool to see a horror series that focuses on entertainment and story-telling, even if at times they tried to hard. Geena Davis is timeless as far as I'm concerned - and a whole lot of woman!
