I totally loved this show!!! I tend to like period and fantasy shows and this one does not disappoint. The scenery, special effects, acting and storyline were all top notch!! Looking forward to season 2 to see how they wrap it all up.

I have realized that I love fantasy KDramas, whether they are ROM-coms, Drama or whatever. I have watched so many and I have to say I LOVED THIS ONE!! The chemistry between Jang Ki Yong and Hyeri made my heart flutter!!! There were a few typical “kdrama falls” where the guy catches the girl and they stare at each other for like a million minutes, but other than that, absolutely beautiful show!!!! Of course we all love happy endings, and I feel all storylines were wrapped up nicely without confusion or conflict.

I have come to love Historical KDramas. I am fascinated by the power struggle, and how royalty viewed the lower class. I loved The Red Sleeve, but it also made me sad. I don’t want to give spoilers so I will say this: the chemistry between leads was felt through the screen!! They were amazing!!! I love how it depicted the reality of being a King and being a commoner, (even worse, a palace maid), and the struggle that possess of you happen to fall in love. I give this a 5 out of 5, it really was well written, perfectly acted and a beautiful story. But it made me sad.

Wow what a great show! All of the characters were so good. It was heartbreaking, funny at times, heartwarming and just a damn good show!!! I recommend to all Kdrama fans!! I had read some mixed reviews so I hesitated, but I absolutely loved it!!!!

I almost passed this one up because of the name, and I am so glad I didn’t! What a great show. A dr from Josean era time travels and learns the true meaning of why he became a dr. The progression of how he learned and fell in love was beautiful!! The relationships we so we’ll done!!! Kim Nam-Gil is one of my new favorite actors!!! He is funny, serious, and has a deadly stare!!!
