I was one of the Pattinson naysayers. After seeing the movie, I now think he may the the best actor ever cast for batman. I still am a fan of Christian Bale's batman, but Pattinson was the perfect brooding, dark batman. Along with that, everything in the movie worked. Acting all around was great, soundtrack and production were spot on. I've seen it twice now, and am impatient for number 2.
