Absolutely loved this series and so disappointed it is only 1 season! As an RN in Australia, I appreciated all the outrages (and sometimes laughable) politics in public sector, and where the money is spent. Acting and character portrayals were fantastic and I rode all the emotions with them. I haven't read the book and most low scores on here are people comparing the book to the show, and as we know, if you've read the book it will always trump the movie/series because you have made your own interpretation of characters and environment. Overall, well worth a watch!

The storyline was OK but, the character portrayals were so unrealistic and I cringed when trying to take them seriously. The main characters felt like upper class kids trying to act like gangsters. The main female character was so irritating and unlikable with zero character background or development and her boyfriend 😂 well, made the whole show feel like a joke. No character likeability, no point of the story (didn't explore racism experienced at both ends of society, didn't even show what really goes on in foster care and I didn't care about any of the characters) and bad/cringe worthy acting 2/10. (The only good actor was the male foster care guy). Plenty of better shows on Stan, don't waste your time!

Absolutely Hooked from the 1st episode! It's great to see Kevin hart play a more complex character and Wesley Snipes... Well he's Wesley Snipes! Great limited series and I really recommend giving it a watch!

I cannot believe I am still watching this... This is SO Bad! You're trying to tell me that a grown woman with a family would do all of this because 1 person from 17 years ago tells her that 'he asked someone about you'. This is painful, but I need to keep watching to see how horrific it gets!

4th time round trying to watch this show... The main character is so difficult to wat! Insanely irritating and unlikable character.... Story would be a 4/5 if they didn't create such an unlikable character!

Honestly one of the best shows in a long time on Netflix! I love the women's relationship and the story line doesn't become complacent at any point. Such a great performance by all involved.

This film is fantastic! (I do not understand the negative reviews and mediocre IMBD score...) the acting was absolute beauty and the stories keep you interested the entire movie, with not one moment where you become disssintrested with them (angry and disscusted, but not dissintrested😉) . This is obviously a dark movie, so if you don't like that it's obviously not for you, or if you're super religious you'll obviously regect this! Enjoy!

Pls have an open mind and accept this movie is the creators depiction! Fantastic movie(3rd time watching it and each time I have acknowledged something new!) All actors were amazing especially Jennifer Lawrence!

This movies execution is absolutely discussting! The fact that some of the 5star reviewers are stating 'how excited' they got from watch child soft porn is beyond unacceptable and Netflix should seriously consider removing it from their platform. I have an 11yo and I would never allow her to watch this, I actually talk to my child and monitor what is safe and unsafe... I don't rely on this sort of rubbish... Absolutely Discussting and the film makers should be ashamed of themselves! Watch 'thirteen', it actually shows substance, family and social relationships and the girls emotional understanding, not just sexualising their bodies....
