Excellent. Great, Great, Great. But why did it take 6 years to get it on Netflix! Oh, we all know why. Because it was directed by a woman and was from a female gaze. Doesn’t the film world get it yet that we are tired of movies from a male gaze. This movie was completely fascinating with constant unexpected twists and turns. And 100% believable. The interactions of the characters had an amazing enriching whole other level than movies directed by men. Yet this was done on only a$750,000 budget! When males are wasting millions and millions on films we hate. Like ARGYLE!

Horrible, disgusting movie. Worse than a waste of two and half hours. Matthew Vaughn proves once again he is a sicko pervert and a terrible director. He has several hallway shooting and murdering scenes that look exactly like he copies the Uvalde school hallway mass shooter murdering little children. He doesn’t know how to tell a story, it’s just yap, yap, yap, explaining, contriving a twist, then a mass murdering scene, then yap, yap, yap agaiin, and another mass murder scene, rinse, repeat, again. It’s soooooo boring. There is absolutely no emotion involved ever. He mocks women’s sport throughout the movie. He’s a misogynist to his core. The CGI is terrible. Everything looks fake, fake, fake. There isn’t one good action scene. He doesn’t know how to direct people, emotions, nor action. Most people walked out of the movie.

A must see for everyone on the planet.

A good show that is a good start to express how horrible men treat women. All TV, film, books, literature, history, etc. should be written from a woman’s POV from now now on. Men have no idea what it’s like to be a female as everything has been done from a male POV. MORE SHOWS LIKE THIS ONE!!!

Movies written and directed by women are always better, more interesting, deeper, more compassionate, more sensitive, more intellectually honest, more real than ANYTHING a male can come up with. Males don’t have any stories left to tell so they are all stuck in the alien, zombie, or superhero rinse and repeat track. Only women should write and direct from now on. Even if only women wrote and directed every movie, TV show, and wrote every book and newspaper article for the next 2000 years it wouldn’t make up for the monopolization males have had stealing the spotlight. Enough with the male gaze! Sick of it!

This movie is terrible because a man took over the script and made the story about Gabby’s little brother. Who cares! Male writers are incapable of understanding how much harder life is for females to get ahead. Sterling knew nothing of sports, nothing of gymnastics. His only way into the story was grumping for the little brother who he felt didn’t get as much attention as Gabby! Bad decision by producers! They should have hired a female athlete to write the screenplay.

This was no more than a chance for Druggie Depp to audition the youngest best actresses at that time who were less than half his age and date several of them on the Hollywood red carpet scene to make his paunchy middle age, unhealthy blubber appear sexually viable to his waning audience. Unfortunately, he conned the lovely, talented, beautiful, successful, generous Ms. Heard to fall in love with his nice Dr. Jekyll side of his bipolar personality, unaware of his criminal Mr. Hyde multiple drug addictions and assault charges his paid thugs and sychophants constantly cover up. Depp abused her love and beat her. Thank God she got away from him. Put him in jail or there will be a next victim.

Waste of time. Dark and weird. The studio never should have let these group of mentally ill men remake the incredible original, a perfect rendition of the delightful Dahl book.. This a a children’s movie that children should never watch. Adults should not watch it either. They have better things to do, like raise their children properly and never let them see Johnny Depp in anything. He’s a terrible actor who was somehow told early on the being weird is good acting. His psychotic emotional life touches no one except other strange psychotics. He has ADHD. Depression, he’s biloplar, he’s addicted to coke, THC, benzos, seroquel, cocaine, alcohol, Oxycodone, et. etc etc and spends his life, the few years his diseased liver might have left, on a bender violently assaulting people. He needs to be in prison, never on a movie set again, to dry out and pay penance for his violent rages. He thinks paying a staff of goons and thugs $300,000 month to get him illegal drugs and cover up his messes will continue but he doesn’t have a dime to give those twisted sycophants anymore. Depp is old, his career waned long ago, in the mid 2000’s when this atrocity came out. Luckily, many of the executives responsible were fired and no longer have careers and neither does old, fat, ugly Depp.

Complete waste of time because an old male director, two stoooopid male screenwriters and SEVEN egotistical male producers completely ruined Patricia Highsmith’s exquisite novel. The novel dramatizes how females are in control of the institution of marriage but of course all these males couldn’t stand that and had to try and turn the novel’s message around, making it a complete failure. Just face it guys, you are not in control of marriage. Women decide who gets to be married, the terms of the marriage, and who gets to stay married. Adrian Lyne is too old to be directing. His old white male network in the Academy gave him a nom for Fatal Attraction three decades ago because they were all so frustrated in their own marriages but they aren’t around to help old Adrian now. Go away, you sickening males. Stop stealing women’s voices from their work. Only allow women to adapt and direct books by women. And awful casting. Ben Affleck looks like the wife’s grandfather. Please, no more Affleck movies. He’ s a drunk in real life and has so much distracting scandal in his life. He comes off so fake onscreen.

This was a good idea pitched to OWN by a top writer/producer but poorly executed by OWN when OWN made the false claim it was their idea and had low level, inexperienced, nonunion newbies try to write and produce it. Turns out OWN tried to steal many shows from top writer/producers. It’s why OWN ultimately failed.
