the blandest remake of one of the best generations. sure, there are a few new features, but nothing that made me want to continue playing the game after the first few gym battles. probably could've taken the spot as the definitive best pokemon game to date if it was treated like the hgss or oras remakes. i'd suggest just playing the originals or legends: arceus.
