Faye Dunaway says in an interview that she knew Joan Crawford had cursed her for her brilliant portrayal in "Mommie Dearest" when she made this turkey over in Yorkshire. It's a remake of a 1945 film and seemingly lacks direction for most of its length. In common with the TV soap "Dark Shadows" a reliance on ad-libs for most of its length. See it if you need a good laugh.
