I was expecting so much more and whilst it started to deliver, i found that the threads and characters were left in limbo at the end. What happened to Grant whom was an antagonistic detractor and prime suspect (Grant appeared on a note). Grant disappeared. Needed to thread that character back into the movie. What about the local doctor and his secret liaison with a resident? Fear of retribution (or townfolk failing to understand a gay relationship) kept the relationship hush hush. That too was left in limbo. The movie was well filmed. The actors did a fantastic job.The mood of the town. the flashbacks were tastefully done.
