As one of the 5 people who played the first, I've been waiting eagerly for this to release. And MAN, did it deliver.
- Story is more serious and less Anime.
- Music is a bop as usual.
- The gene system and the huge number of monsties give this game good longevity and replay value. l
- The gameplay is just... really good. It's a fantastic mix of Pokémon and Shin Megami Tensei. And there are just as many options for the rider as with the monsties.
This game is 100% worth your time if you're into anything similar to the above 2. It has a free demo on the Switch, if you'd like to experience the first "chapter" for free. If you like it, you can always transfer your progress.
