I wanted to like this but when I learned that only 10% of the show is filmed in Texas... well it shows. The writers are definitely not Texans or even residents of Austin. Austin has been badly represented. They are trying too hard on the characters. One dimensional stereotypes. The gay story line alone is too in your face! I like Rob Lowe, he is well cast but Liv just really misses. Her soft demeanor is all wrong for a kick ass captain. The one Texan on the cast is a little too on the nose but he has potential. And by the way Austin has a lot more fun bars that are not Kiker bars!
