I really enjoyed this book! I had read it years ago as a class project in high school English class. I didn't really appreciate it as I do today but of course I hadn't read as many books then. Bram Stoker nailed this and created a whole new genre! His writing style and prose was like watching a skilled dancer...but with words! The language and the first person accounts drew me into the story...I think what impressed me most was the nobility of the male characters and the feminine beauty and ladylike manners of the female protagonists. But most of all... the proper way they spoke to one another. People simply dont talk like this anymore.... How refreshing!!! A great story full of intrigue, tragedy, romance and suspense!! Fiction should always be this fun to read!!
