I pre-ordered this back in February, but I don't think that was necessary; word of mouth would have been sufficient to stop me from buying this book. I'm 3/4 of the way through a Stephen King book I've had since May and I'm not sure I can get through one more disappointing short story. I mean, they are awful. Each one worse than the last. I should've known better; I almost finished "Fairytale" before I had had ENOUGH ALREADY. Ugh. I kept waiting for it, and "..Darker" to get better. 😫 Not happening. So so so disappointed. I have to find my copy of "It" and re-read what is arguably the best story ever written in horror, to rekindle my love for reading King.
