I would recommend this series to anyone who loves action and crime.Set in the late 19th century it narrates the battle of supremacy between rival tongs in San Francisco's Chinatown. A martial arts prodigy travels to America to look for his estranged sister only to be recruited and shoved in the middle of a war he didn't bargain for. Faced with the difficult task of trying to through to his sister ,now a tong warlord, he doesn't back down and is determined not to let his sister down a second time It diminishes stereotypes relating to Chinese mastery of English language where the characters not only speak show fluency but also a flair that leaves one with a smile on their face.The script writer reay outdid himself and the proof is in the pudding.The play on words and delicious comeback/clapbacks are much in tune and appreciated. Don't miss it!!
