This could have been a wonderful series. Acting and production values are superb. Unfortunately the script is sluggish and the plot suffers from contrived and inorganic attempts at addressing current political issues. I’m all for political correctness, but throwing them into the plot just for the sake of making a political point is boring, preachy and cringeworthy.
