Wow…WOW WOW WOW! What a detestable little man Bob Durst was. He was a (poor) manipulator of people and, although charming to a degree, rather slimey and creepy with it. God help you if you didn’t cow-tow to his wants, he’d simply make sure you wound up dead.
These 10 episodes are utterly astonishing and fantastically detailed - enough for you to make your mind up about “did he do it?” (as if there’s any question!). But make your own mind up.
Andrew Jerecki handles Bob beautifully. If he intentionally led us down the “guilty” road, fantastic, but it seems that so many of the interviews were simply worded so well, Bob walks into indictments and every law suit is absolutely deserved.
We see an arrogance and righteousness in Bob and, although we know all programmes are edited to suit the wanted narrative, Andrew shows us Bob and his cast of misfits in a true light.
There are 12 episodes (The Jinx + The Jinx:Part 2) and I binged it, but I urge you to bear with and definitely view it - it is utterly fascinating and enlightening.
