A true masterpiece which manages to catch all the moments of sadness, despair and hope perfectly it's a movie that's been directed to perfection and not only is it sad and despair filled but the story of the Andes survivors is truly harrowing and haunting it's much much more than a remake to the 1993's alive not only did it succeed in captivating me with it's direction it did so so nicely that it didn't even feel like I just spent 2 hours and 20 minutes I would definitely recommend this if you're interested at all in drama or the andes plane crash

It gave what you'd expect the movie knew exactly how to build tension and also just how to break it as far as comedic horror goes it was perfect but going in don't expect much character depth or complexity it's a pretty straightforward story

It's an amazing and perfect show for someone looking for a gore filled superhero/vigilante series it follows the group called "the boys" which is led by Billy butcher who will do anything to exact his revenge on homelander a superhero (or atleast to the eye of the public) if you're looking for a great story with tons of gore and plot twists and some scenes which make you question the border of morality then this is the thing for you Spoiler from here on: in this show most superheroes are literal industry controlled by the company "vought" and the main character of the show the members of "the boys" are vigilantes trying to expose the superhero industry and all the collateral damage that's caused by their superheroes all of the members of the boys have a personal motive behind them doing this but the one thing they share is a disdain for supes the main antagonist is homelander a sociopath with the only weakness being his need to be loved and accepted by people which is also the only thing keeping him from scorching the earth he's also incredibly racist
