Lawrence Fingar

Saw this movie at the Marine base in DaNang in 1968. I was Army, but, the Marines had built an actual movie theater at the base. Nice seats. Air conditioning. Local females as ushers. I think it even had a snack bar. Pure heaven! If you got to DaNang you just had to go and see whatever was playing. Even this piece of garbage movie. I can't begin to describe how inaccurate and just plain bad it was. It was supposed to be serious but we were literally rolling in the aisles laughing at so much of it. The only part that really got everybody to go "Yeah" was when Spooky lit up a field of VC. Of course, it was more impressive watching it in real life. Spooky always put on a hell of a show at night!
