As a Mythology Nerd, this movie is so wrong on so many levels, but as a film.... This movie is wrong... On so many levels.
Sure, the "le totally epic hero surpasses the gods" has been a terrible trope in mythology flicks since their very inception, but it was handled so poorly in this one. If you're going to do a plotline so boring and predictable, do it correctly.
