Just beginning to watch it and praying it isn’t the story of Etan Patz from SoHo-1979. Cumberbatch’s acting is a gift. Good to see him again.

I was disappointed. The Good Wife in my opinion, was one of the best written TV series ever and The Good Fight did not come close. TGF story line was all over the place in comparison to TGW. Michael Sheen’s NY accent was so harsh and difficult to listen to, I skipped his scenes. The “weird and lost Diane” part was confusing and overall, I felt the series was not very good.

Grotesque, frankly. Yet it feels authentic and no doubt was typical of most Nazi families. Cavalier, dismissive and off-handed comments about Jews “behind the wall” are disturbing as they come easily and are second nature to the speakers, ordinary German citizens..

First, Hong Kong is genuinely portrayed as backdrop. The core story, however, moves at such a glacial pace, I’m sticking around to find out what happened to Gus. I must say, I almost quit after Ep4 and that truly awful elevator scene between Hilary and her mother. I am a fan of Nicole Kidman no matter what, so watching her reminds me it is worth it. So I’m in. One more episode to go.

Nightmare. Everyone knows what they're signing up for but there is, nevertheless, genuine hurt from rejection that happens to all of them to some degree. And I think that’s pretty bad. Then the perpetrator literally cries because he feels guilt. Are we supposed to feel sorry for the man? I think it’s interesting that the rejected woman asked him why he took it to the level he did with her when he knew she wasn’t the one? She’s right. His response was B.S. Truth: He was acting a part and wanted to get as much as he could physically from her even though he was planning on dumping her. I think it’s about time ABC put the kibosh on all of these “bachelor” disasters.

Not a fan of Mel Gibson as a person but he is very good and at times even hilarious in this movie, directed by Nancy Meyer. A good movie for both men and women to enjoy.

To me, many of the main characters became so exaggerated and so unlikeable by the 4th season, I found myself questioning whether I wanted to stick with it. Mick and Abby were at the top of my list. Example: Why did they feel compelled to give Abby Donovan the foulest mouth in California? Finally, what happened to the child Maria? Did they leave her somewhere? How did Mickey get away with his ridiculous antics for so long? Made no sense. Imo, there has never been a TV Series with such a loathsome cast of characters. Exhausting.

I know the later American series which was well done, so I wanted to see this. This feels too real for comfort. Tense moments to say the least. One of the things I enjoy about Australian films is a down to earth quality which works best in a story like this one. Plus the actors here were especially well cast.

I didn’t like it. A few things: Matt Damon’s Wilson is so morose, so deadpan, he was off-putting. I couldn’t stay with him-I disliked him throughout. Jolie’s character was passionate and believable in comparison. But the deliberate low tones, almost whispering, at times from Hurt (?) and Damon made their acting almost sleep inducing . The Wilson character needed a slap to wake him up and then a good cry to get his heart pumping! The accompanying music kept promising something that never delivered.

Not at all true to Austen’s writing. In my opinion these film versions must at least attempt to stay true or why do them at all?
