Well I didn’t really have high hopes for this from the get-go but I was still hoping the franchise would end with a bang. Personally I actually think they should’ve released the 2018 film and just left it alone from there. The first ending with him burning alive in the basement (trap) I thought, was the perfect ending. It’s enough of the satisfaction of seeing them beat him but you still know that he’ll likely return-that to me would’ve been the best possible ending. This third installment felt so rushed and really all over the place with the plot. I don’t see the point of introducing Corey in the final film. The audience has never seen him before this film so how are we supposed to be invested in his character? I think potentially a little romance between him and Allison could’ve been fun but in that case he should’ve been introduced in the first movie. Again, I really wasn’t expecting much going into it but I hoped since Jamie Lee was a part of it the ending would’ve been more satisfying and it just wasn’t because the first half of the movie was so poorly written. I’m glad I have peacock so me and my friend were able to watch for free. Don’t spend the money.
