The book was another excellent choice for readers who enjoy a good dystopian fiction novel. The character buildup was pretty strong and enthralling. The overall plot and the emotional journey the reader experiences throughout the story is certainly one to be remembered. Kudos to Lauren Oliver for that. However in my opinion, I personally felt as if the storyline was pretty much repetetive but I suppose that is what dystopian fiction is based on after all but for those readers who have read a good many other dystopian fic stories like; The Maze Runner, Red Queen, Hunger Games, Legend etc etc.most of the story is definitely predictable but Oliver did outdo it all by bringing in some unexpected plot twists. Conclusively, I certainly cannot deny that Lauren Oliver is indeed a good and talented author who writes excellent books and the Delirium trilogy is a perfect example of her undeniable talent.

*SPOILER ALERT*(I guess) This is so far one of my favorite dystopian fic stories so far. The storyline as I always say was excellent. The characters were so easy to relate to and the love story was beutiful. The ending of the book was so shocking and heartbreaking. Victoria Aveyard is one of the best authors I have ever read so far. The way we fall in love with the protagonist and antagonist-especially-and their relationship before and after is so beautiful. The story is so wonderfully orchestrated. My favorite character in the story always has been and always will be Maven Calore-as shocking as it could be to many-because the way Aveyard starts off his character and the twists and despite the revealing of his dark side the readers still undeniably love his character no matter what. Mare's character is entirely on another level. The way Aveyard has created a character that readers can so easily relate to is stunning. If I launch into an explanation of how each of the characters is perfect I would probably go on forever. So, I just stuck to the antagonist and protagonist-my two personal favorites. If you love love dystopian fiction, this series is definitely not one to miss out on.
