DD2 is a masterpiece. If you played the original and the expansion you’d easily fall in love with this new adaptation. I have been playing since launch on PS5 and have found myself lost in my own adventure. I’m 44 hours into the game and haven’t even really touched the main quest line. I managed to find the Sphinx’s lair by just walking and defeating everything that got in my way. They put a lot more effort into the mage and sorcerer vocation and that made me really happy. Asides from the trolls in the comment section on social media platforms that haven’t even played the game and have been trying to lower its rating by complaining about every small thing they can find, I must say my experience so far has been extremely satisfying and I can’t wait to journey more. Also, the new armor for the game is amazing. The game does offer you the ability to buy some stuff with real money in advance however these things are unnecessary unless you’re just lazy and don’t want to actually do the work to obtain those same items. In other words if you don’t want to spend extra don’t spend extra. Just enjoy the journey and have a great role playing experience.
