In this latest update, I am actually feeling like the game is at it's peak; new enemies, fresh feeling of deadly weaponry, and in general a breathe of fresh air. The game is perfect right now, any strategem or weapon that was nerfed or felt like it just wasn't cutting it, now has been buffed to another level. No more just running the same load out every single time with an orbital rail cannon that wouldn't always do the trick, or an orbital Lazer that would be lack luster to the 50 other things that were looking right at me that just sucked. Now I can try out new strategems I never used that actually work! Like the orbital gas, or running a recoilless rifle that actually does damage, and I'm learning about all these amazing things that are actually fun to use now! Even the 500kg bomb got a buff, and a long awaited one too! (Tho I still think it needs more area damage) This game is making it's comeback, and if at first you left feeling a sense of hopelessness, feeling like nothing you did worked and all the game had to offer was a constantly reused load out that offered little to no fun, rest assured, this game has been revamped. And although it isn't perfect, still needing things like an increase in samples you can collect or adding newer upgrades to your arsenal, the game is still rock solid right now. Worth the wait, worth the money, worth the dive!
