Hmmmm....a missed opportunity is how I would sum up this movie. My biggest issue with the film is that at points (mainly the middle) it was genuinely boring. Twister back in 1996 was a rip roaring full on action movie (do not expect the same), Twisters just didn't have enough action, set pieces or scenes like the original that took your breath away. The twisters themselves looked spectacular when they arrived, however it seemed to take an age for them to actually arrive...a shame really as they are the stars of the show. Perhaps my expectations were for something else, however I cane out of the cinema feeling a little short changed.
