I watched The Super Mario Bros. movie today and it turned out to be freaking awesome. It's really a dream come true. It had a lot of easter eggs that Nintendo fans will recognize. Beautifully animated. When they announced Illumination was going to work on a Mario movie I was very worried. Then we had the trailers and people were concerned about Chris Pratt cast of choice. I do think Cranky Kong could have had a better voice actor that fits him. Casting Jack Black as Bowser was the best decision ever. I do feel some scenes were rushed very fast and wish we could have had more of certain scenes from the movie. People who don't know much about the Nintendo universe or Mario games might not catch all the easter eggs in the movie. Will gladly watch it again when it comes out on Bluray. Wahoo!

This was always one of my favorite games as a kid. I used to play it with my sister and it was a lot of fun.

The movie could have been a lot of better. The beginning was nice and funny and then everything fell apart. There was a lot of pointless scene that dragged on way too long that it made me lose interest. It tried too hard to be funny.

I thought this would be one of those typical boring movies but I thought it was great. I love the cast and it got me hooked until the end. Worth the watch.

I finally got to watch it and I thought it was good. Better than the Power of Us which was boring.

The movie was not bad at all. I thought it was beautiful but there were few things that bothered me. First of all what the heck happened to Jock? He always has been one of my favorites and they turned him into an annoying female dog with an annoying voice which kind of ruined the mood of the movie. The Siamese cats what happened to them? That was the biggest straw for me. Bi-racial couples. Why is Joe Hispanic? I understand they tried to add more things but at the end they did kind of changed the story a bit more and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. 7/10 for me. Still worth watching.

I thought this movie would suck when I first saw the trailer, but it was not that bad. Warwick Davis would have been better for the Leprechaun. As a come back this could have been worse. Better than the Leprechaun Origin they made few years ago. If you love the Leprechaun movies I recommend giving this a shot.
